Boat weights
- Elite are built to FISA minimum -2% to +5% for singles, and -2% to +3% for bigger boats.
- Club A are approximately 5% to 25% over FISA minimum.
- Club B are approximately 5% to 30% over FISA minimum.
Reasons for the variations in weight within any one grade of boat;
- Sweep rigged boats tend to be less over FISA minimum weight than scull rigged boats.
- Bigger boat classes (8s and 4s) tend to be less over FISA minimum weight than smaller boat classes(1x and 2x/-).
- Boats for lightweights tend to be lighter than boats for heavy crews.
